Park View

The Park View building provides supported accommodation for young people. The hostel is situated on the main high street in Kingswood and has the KYHP office next door. Park View is 5 minutes walk from Kingswood with easy access to shops and bus routes.

Eight young people live at the hostel for between six months and two years. Each resident at the hostel has their own room with water and a sink unit, we also provide furniture and bedding which is always new for each resident. Residents share bathrooms, (two people per floor) living rooms and kitchens.

Park View is supported accommodation and each young person will have a support worker to help with finding work, managing paperwork or just to talk to.

Here's what they said about the project :

“helped me progress in life a lot in the last year, very grateful!”

“Always helped me resolve any problems I had.”

“Stopped me wasting my money”

“helped me out a lot with budgeting and expenses and which help of my support worker I managed to pay my rent”

my support plan was “very effective in a way that you could see when you started to set deadlines and see who is responsible
